On March 1, 2022, the centenary of the writer, journalist and founder of the Catalan Academy of Gastronomy, Nèstor Luján, was celebrated. This award is dedicated to him as he was one of the first authors who wrote about gastronomy in our country. Renowned writer and gourmet who knew how to share good food and make Catalan cuisine known throughout the world.
The Nèstor Luján award was created in 2022 to recognize the work of dissemination and support of the sector.
